Process

1. Each of partners gives the information about reporting process and results. The process has been successful for every partner.

Resolution: share an information about preparing the next report, ask questions to the project manager Ieva Briede, if there are any problems.

2. Local coordinator from Finland Markku Kaikkonen gives an overview of materials that has been prepared for the Teachers Manual so far.

1. Disscriptions of situation of special music in each country;

2. Prepared case studies of each partner;

3. Chosen songs for each partner.

Resolution: to find the same format of writing for all partners

3. A Local coordinator from Estonia Sirli Väinsar informs about coming Music Camp Meeting in Music in September in Estonia. The discussion issues are:

1. what kind of classes except music should be provided for the participants of the camp

2. what other activities should be provided for the participants of the camp

3. how to can teachers work with different age groups

4. exact dates and agenda of the camp

Resolution:

1. for the participants of camp we can provide music, art and dance lessons.

2. Activities: sports games, excursion by boat on the nearest lake, meeting party and table games, farewell party.

3. There are going to be students from different age groups: school children, youngsters, adults. To provide activities for different development levels.

4. The dates for the camp:   September 6 – 10. During the first day everybody arrives, then three activity days, the last day – going home. At the 4the day of the camp there’ll be a concert.

1. Disccussion of Teachers Manual

- layout and design

2. Presentation the draft of Teachers’ Manual to experts

1. Local coordinator from Finland Markku Kaikkonen presents different layout that could be suitable for Teachers Manual.

1. Layout 1: song and a short disscription about activities and possibilities

2. Layout 2: songs are arranged by the stage of difficulty. The proceess dinamic is seen clearly

3. Layout 3: songs are arranged by a subject/ theme of the song

Resolution:

the most suitable for the Teachers Manual is a layout Nr. 1. To prepare all information in that kind of format. Riga Partner is responsible for finding a designer for the book so the layout would be ready till the next meeting.

2. Disscussion on translation the texts of songs and copyrights. Local coordinator from Finland Markku Kaikkonen talks about his experiance on preparing songs for a publishing and about possible problems with getting a copyrights for translated text.

Resolution:

to translate texts for songs and get in touch with copyright holders.

3. Disscussion of the all information for the Teachers Manual with experts. Local coordinator from Finland Markku Kaikkonen presents songs, case stories. All experts share their ideas of what that can still be added to the songs.

Resolution:

to bear in mind all the ideas and make changes in materials.

Process

1. Each of partners gives the information about reporting process and results. The process has been successful for every partner.

2. Local coordinator from Latvia Anna Petraškeviča, project manager Ieva Briede gives an information of  different issues of the project organization:

- updating a blog

- setting dates for the next skype conferences

Resolution:

To organize skype conferences for all partners once a month. Next conference in March. Continue work on blog and update information more often.

3. Visiting a Day Care Centre Saule: a day care centre for adults with special needs. Participating in workshops: music (Color orchestra), handicraft, arts. Listening to a concert and participating in discussions.

1. Local coordinator from Finland Markku Kaikkonen presents all songs that has been chosen for the Teachers Manual. Each partner presents it’s own songs and tells about the idea, possible activities, plays and sings it. All share ideas about possible changes, improvements.

Resolution:

1. To adapt all songs for different age groups and different levels of difficulty.

2. To change a popular music song of Riga partner, because of its very complicated text.

2. Discussion on Joint Teachers seminar in Helsinki:

- activities

- exact dates

- number of participants and a budget

Resolution:

The main activity would be practical workshops for teachers who are teaching people with special needs. Dates – June 14 – 16. Project Manager Ieva Briede will prepare a detailed budget for all activities of all partners.

1. Detailed information on reporting by Ieva Briede, Project Manager. Each of partners gives informs others about their reports, about problems they have faced during filling in all the applications.

Resolution: continue preparing the documentation for the Project Progress Report.

2. Ieva Briede informs all partners about a DVD contract.

Resolution: to sign a DVD contract by all partners.

3. Information and materials about Interreg Communication Seminar. Ieva Briede informs about information and ideas she has got during an Interreg Communication Seminar.

Resolution: to organize skype conferences for all partners once a month. Continue work on blog and update information more often.

4. Discussions on Project Communication plan by all Partners.

Resolution: to be more clear about target groups of our project adding socal workers and network around people with special needs.

1. Ieva Briede suggests organize skype conferences to improve project work.

Resolution: set a date for the first skype conference – January 8, 2010.

Resolution: each partner takes responsibility of updating a blog.

3. Visiting Pahkla Camphill Centre, Prillimäe Rapla County: a village for people with special needs. Participating in workshops, concert and disscussions.

1. Detailed information on reporting by Ieva Briede, Project Manager, Culture  Department of the Riga City Council.

Resolution: pieņemt zināšanai

2. Detailed information on activities of Milstone 1 by Ieva Briede:

- the first Kick-off meeting and meeting of Steering group;

- procurement procedure of documentary Music for All;

- work on blog;

- presentation of the project logo.

Resolution: accept a presented version of the logo, continue work on blog.

3. Discussion on a Showcase Conference by Ieva Briede.

Resolution: keep the same idea about Resonaari student teaching visitors in playing music using Figurnotes. But it’s still unclear about finances for travel and accomondation costs.

4. Presentation of the blog – it’s content, strucuture, visual look by Anna Petraškeviča.

Resolution: continue work on blog: each partner sends by email an information about institution, pictures etc.

5. Brainstorms on the documentary “Music for All” – ideas for script by Markku Kaikkonen.

Resolution: summarize all ideas and suggestions and send to Markku Kaikkonen by email.

6. Brainstorms on Methodological Handbook. Presenting ideas from teachers meetings in Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki.

1. Meeting a DVD production group from “Kala production” company: Jussi Meling and Kaarle Lahdenpää.

Discussed issues:             1.  discussion on estimate costs;

2.  contract;

3.  draft of script for DVD.

Resolution: prepare a contract for signing during Milestone 1, prepare changes in estimate costs, continue work on a script for DVD.

2. Planning a Tallinn meeting.

Discussed issues: dates and agenda of event

Resolution: the dates of meeting are November 26 – 28; for Estonian partner – to prepare an agenda.
